Too many meetings? This will help you cut down the number of meetings

Many complain that their days are so full of meetings that they barely have time to work.
Do you recognize this problem? If yes, you can take help of these three steps:

1. To begin with, you should always ask - can this be handled by email or phone instead? If you determine that you must meet, learn to cut down the meeting by telling everyone when you meet that you only have 30 minutes and then you need to go. It gets people to speed things up and gets to the point much faster.

2. Create a goal for each meeting and prepare the person you are meeting with for what the meeting is about. Stick to the topic. Decide what should be decided before the meeting is over.

3. After the meetings you should leave with one of these three achievements:
1. An agreement.
2. A solution
3. A plan

The result: More time to spare. Less stress. More work done!
