Tips to end up higher in the search engines

Do you know how you will become a genuine Internet geek?

Well, you dream at night that you come across Google's secret list of the criteria they use for high rankings.
And the ultimate nerd proof is that when you wake up, you will see it as an erotic dream.

Sure it's a nice fantasy that there would be a super secret list of ten steps and then - presto – you do this and that and suddenly you're number one.

I know one thing that many others don't seem to know and that is that small businesses can be pretty cool and still reach the top rankings. Yes, it's true.

If you just design a website that is comprehensive, contains a lot of stuff that many people are looking for and common words and phrases people are using, then you've taken care of all the most important things.

Actually, the secret is all about thinking in the opposite direction - what do the search engines want? They want, of course, to deliver relevant results to those who seek. If someone wants to buy a cheap tent and search for the phrase ”cheap tent”, the search engine wants to show results from websites that sell cheap tents. The search engine's mission is to be the best at relevant matches. Simple!

So what are your customers looking for? What do they write into the search box at Google? Are those combinations of words available on your website? If yes, more than half of the battle is won.

Erotic dream? Nah, rather dry skin practical knowledge.
