The ten most dangerous traps for you and your solo business

It's hard to fail as an entrepreneur with the right attitude, a genuine interest in helping customers, staying active and always looking for where the action is. Entrepreneurship is much like a game with very simple rules. Unfortunately, it's likely that many people who start their own company do it without finding out if there is anyone who wants to pay for what they intend to make money on. Other common mistakes are these:

1. Lack of commitment and a lack of focus at the start (or if motivation runs out before the company is up and running.)
2. No short-term or long-term goals.
3. Difficulty in making decisions.
4. Lack of action.
5. Refuse to ask for help when needed.
6. No dreams that help make the company grow.
7. No plans to fund operations during downturns.
8. Losing opportunities because he/she examines things too much and therefore miss a lot of chances.
9. Fear of accepting challenges - let it sink or swim.
10. No desire (or even pure dislike) for sales and marketing.

Despite all these things, there's still another thing that is more important than anything else - you need to have your own motor and the strength to keep going even when times are tough. The term ”surrender” shouldn't exist in your vocabulary.
