Here are the reasons why you should start a newsletter

Now I'm really trying to convince you of the benefits of starting and running an electronic newsletter.

Tiresome? Requirements, requirements, requirements  - yes, I know!

OK, I'll do my best to show you why you should have one. It's probably the most effective tools an internet marketer can have.

Five reasons why you should have an e-newsletter:

1. You get the chance to show your customers and those who might become your customers what you can do and that you keep your brain active and think ahead.

2. You create natural reasons for subscribers to visit your website.

3. You will receive continuous training in what you're doing because you always need to keep yourself updated. Otherwise you won't have anything to write that will help people in your letters.

4. A newsletter will strengthen your company's brand in the long term.

5. It gives you a chance to be featured in your customers' everyday lives in a positive way.

Five things you should have in the letter:

1. The letter should give your customers timely information that makes them wiser in one area (yours) that they don't have time to look for themselves.

2. Deals on new products related to the subject of your letter is good. It helps your subscribers to become better at what they want to be good at. They subscribe to the letter and they're obviously interested in the subject and the kind of things that can make them even better.

3. A personal tone. Don't think that you WRITE A NEWSLETTER where you should try to show how smart you are. Imagine that you are writing a letter to your best friend who just needs to know something you know to get better at it themselves.

4. About the content: “Is this so good that it really is worth the money to find out?” If so then it's fine.

5. A reference in the end, maybe a snippet of what you can help with more: “You do know that we are helping companies with...” so that customers get something to act on.
