Do you want a magic pill that will lift your business directly?

In that case - see this as a direct order!

1. Go get a cup of coffee.

2. Close the door behind you.

3. Put a “Do not disturb”-sign on the door and unplug your phone.

4. Turn off the cell phone.

5. Tell everyone who normally bothers you that right now it means death to disturb you (look as if you really mean it when you tell it to people).

6. Take a whiteboard and make sure you have fresh pens at hand

7. Make sure you have something good to eat and water to drink. Loosen your tie if you have one, kick off your shoes, unbutton your shirt/blouse.

Now you are prepared ...

Sit comfortably and take out this list:

(Write the answers to all these questions. Take a five minute break between each question).

1. Take a closer look at your company and ask yourself: “If I had just bought this company, what would I do to sell more/expand?”

2. Ask yourself: “If I had a million to invest in this company, what part of the company/what products/services would I spend the money on?”

3. Ask yourself: “To remain or to become the market leader in 20 years, where will I put my time and resources right now?”

4. Ask yourself: “What can I do to double the strength of our brand within six months?”

5. Ask yourself: “What is working well right now and how can I make sure that it continues to work well?”

6. Ask yourself: “What are the five most important people in the company and what I can do to make them they stay with me?”

7. Ask yourself: “What systems and processes are working so well that we take them for granted? What can we do to improve them?”

8. Ask yourself: “How quickly and well can we adapt to changes of the customers, market, technology, personnel needs and financial circumstances?”

9. Ask yourself: “What do we have that is outstanding and that people still don't know about?”

Well, there you have it - the most effective day of this year!
