1. Do you feel that your business will be alive and well in five years or are you just riding on a trend?
2. Has the branch you will work within been stable for many years?
3. Is your industry growing?
4. Are imported products cheaper?
5. Is it easy to create new ways to think and work in your industry and to follow the development?
6. Can you offer things that others don't offer on long-term basis?
7. Will the industry change in the next five years?
8. Are you flexible enough to change the company's direction during the trip?

These questions are important for you to think about as the answers you give will show you if your company has a fair chance to survive in the long run. Many companies start with one idea, but they develop it and eventually turn it into something the customers want more. If you do nothing and just hope for the best, you risk everything. Make sure you get a good start for both your own and your business’ sake.
