Auto-responder As A Marketing Tool

Here's a brief description of a auto-responder if you don't know what it is:
When you go on vacation, are tied up in a meeting or can't answer emails quickly for other reasons, you can make sure that a default reply automatically goes out to anyone who sends an email to you.

It's a great feature, but most people just use it to indicate that they're are in a meeting, on vacation or sick. Very few use the auto-responder as a marketing tool. It's a shame, especially for knowledge-based companies.

4 Tips to use auto-responder as a marketing tool

1. In addition to telling people where you are for those who don't receive a reply to the e-mail they sent, you can tell them about your latest campaign, refer to some interesting content on the website or to provide concrete offers in your auto-responder.

2. You can create some really attractive content on your website that visitors can take part of, but only if they send an email to a specific address. You may write a tip list in your field and attract visitors to the website by sending out a blank email to yourtipss@yourcompany.com (an email address that you use only for auto-responder-service).

3.With a more advanced auto-responder, you can even start automatic courses with multiple elements that will be managed automatically. Week 1 three participants enroll and get course letter # 1. Week 2 five participants report their interest and also get letter # 1. Those who signed up for week 1 will now receive letter # 2 - fully automatic and scheduled. At the end of the course, it's time for them to take a step closer to you and your business.

4. You can service our customers faster, because they can ask for information sent to them automatically at any time of day.

What you win:
1. You get a completely automated marketing channel - amazing!
2. You get the chance to show what you can do to customers who would not otherwise contact you.
3. You get names of possible new clients to contact.
4. It's a cheap and easy way to promote your business to people who are really interested.

What do you say – isn't this worth a try?
