8 Reasons why you should quit your old job and start your own business

Far too many people are bored at work. They can't control their working days, they think the boss is crazy and feel they don't get anything back for all the time they spend at work each day.

If this sounds like you, you may be a good candidate for starting your own business instead. This website exists to inspire you towards starting your own company instead of working for other people throughout your life.

Embrace these reasons why you should quit your current job and become free instead:

1. Right now you just replace time for money
Seriously - how fun is it to know that you only make money when you go to work and that there is a company (not yours) who decide how much you should earn and that there is a set limit which it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever be able to get beyond.

2. Right now you have very limited control
The management can make you do boring things that affect you negatively any time they like. They can do things you don't agree with at all - and you are being paid for putting up with whatever they want to do. How fun is that?

3. Right now you can only do one thing
Most people who are employed only become experts in a very narrow field during their life. In your own business, you'll learn everything and get the whole picture instead of a little fragment. Life is short. Don't forget it. You have to take your chances when you see them, even if they look a bit scary at first glance.

4. Right now, your job is not as exciting as it could be
Starting you own company, anything can happen. It's not always fun, but you will never look at the clock on the office wall and wonder if it's broken.

5. Right now you're more like a child than an adult in many ways
Employees can easily end up in a dangerous dependence on their employers where they do things they don't want to do just because they want to keep their job. I hear about employed buddies who must re-apply for their jobs and perhaps do other things just to keep their position. Why do they put up with this? As a business owner, you take care of yourself instead.

6. Right now you have no real freedom
Every year many employees have to adjust their holiday schedule after their co-worker's schedules. Entrepreneurs decide themselves when they want to go on holiday. They can take a few days off every now and then and do what they want. As a business owner, you can be much more flexible.

7. Right now you don't earn money while you sleep
Since you just change your time for money and don't get paid for more than the time you spend at work, you are missing what usually ends up happening in your own business after a while - money will come rolling in by itself when your business gains a life of its own . Imagine how exciting it will be.

8. Right now you only have yourself to blame for the life you live
You may claim that it's not convenient to start your own business right now. You may say that the children are too small, the ceiling needs to be painted or that you lack money to get a business going. You can blame lots of things, but the fact of the matter is still the same – you can get a business going if you really want it! You have the possibility to devote a little time each day, each week to study and get one step closer to starting your own company.
