10 simple ways to reduce the stress of selling

10 simple ways to reduce the stress of selling:

1. First - What was it that got you so stressed out last spring?
Write down anything that got your blood pressure to increase in a negative way and create a list of the five or ten worst things. Think about what you can remove from the list and how to do it.

2. Cut down ALL your meetings by half
People talk too much these days. Be sure to take the lead for those who really do things by always ensuring that your meetings will be shorter and to the point. You want to get things done. Let others talk about doing things.

3. Do things now, don't procrastinate
When things start to pile up, your stress levels rise too. Plan your job better and get rid of the piles faster.

4. Set aside time to the organization
Not having control of things creates a lot of stress. If you are smart and set aside time in your schedule to create guidelines and routines for everything, you will be less stressed.

5. Be on time
It fascinates me that some people always turn up out of breath. How hard is it, from one time to another, to learn to leave 15 minutes earlier? Be early and stop stressing.

6. Release control
You can't control everything even though it would be nice. Once you realize this for real, you'll feel much lighter. The only thing you can control is yourself.

7. Stop doing five things at once
It seems productive to do many things at once, but in reality it slows us down from completing things. It often degrades the quality and creates stress too. Do one thing at a time and do it well instead.

8. Let all negative people go
You already know who they are. The people who pull you down and create stress. Look for positive people who give you good energy and stick to them as much as you can.

9. Exercise
I'd probably be dead by now if I didn't go to the gym several days a week. Several years ago I was always stressed. These days I'm working even more, but I'm less stressed. I want to thank the free weights, the push ups, the treadmill, the bench press and several other things. The gym makes a difference.
